Redemption Through Simplicity

6) What was brought out up to this point is that the double letters, which constitute the five letters םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH.", possess the merit and power to redeem.

The Book of Creation, attributed to Abraham our Father, elucidates that it was with the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet that GOD created the world and that, through these letters, GOD molded the form of creation and all that is within the world was within the five letters םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH." that GOD engraved the power to redeem the world for redemption, in and of itself, is an essential part of the world.

7) These letters םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH." are פשוטים "PSHOOTIM". This means that they are simple.

The word simple in the singular form is פשוט "POSHOOT" in Hebrew; whereas the plural form is "PSHOOTIM".

The Hebrew wond "POSHOOT" carries with it the following meaning: stretched out; straight stripped.

The final letters: "M.N.Z.P.CH." are designated as "PSHOOTIM", meaning that they are stretched out; extended.

This conveys that the letters םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH." are extended from the top to the bottom. These letters are channels through which light flows.

It therefore must be understood that these final letters of the Hebrew alphabet are connected with the origin above and descend to the very bottom of the world. The Hebrew word "PSHOOTIM" can also be interpreted to mean that these letters are stripped from all combinations or admixtures of "outside elements"; for the meaning of the Hebrew word "POSHOOT" is stripped or freed of all coverings. The purity of these letters therefore renders them fit instruments to bring about redemption; for the reason that they are loaded with power for redemption.

8) It is generally known that when something is deemed to be פשוט "POSHOOT", it is stripped from all things and, as a result, stands independently alone, without relation to anything else.

It follows then that the one who is redeemed is "singled out" by himself. He has no connection with or relation to his master.

This prevalence over all outside forces is a state that must be arrived at by he who has to be redeemed. However, not so is the condition of the one who is subjugated. He cannot be considered "POSHOOT", stripped from all outside forces; for he is connected with the one who subordinates him, all of which makes it crystal clear that the one who is "POSHOOT", stripped, is situated by himself, having no connection whatsoever with anyone. This dramatizes freedom.

Furthermore, does not the foregoing make it follow as the night follows the day, that he who suffers subjugation by his master cannot be deemed "POSHOOT": stripped of all outside relation with other elements, by reason of having some connection with his master, the one who subordinates him? It is due to the fact that anything that is intermixed, each part, of necessity, must be subordinated to the other; to the extent that the second part cannot be deemed free by itself.

This explains why it is that the one who is "POSHOOT", who is singled out individually, standing as an entity by himself, having no outside things attached to him, is actually eligible for redemption. This is because he does not suffer any subjugation from the outside elements.

9) This applies, as well, to the nature of "Matzoh", unleavened bread. In and of itself, it is essentially "PSHOOTAH", free from other elements. However, "Chometz ", leavened bread, in addition to flour and water, is also combined with שאר "S'EIR", leaven. As a result, each part is not free by itself.

By the same token, he who is "POSHOOT" is also eligible for redemption; for he does not suffer the brunt of subjugation to any ruler. Consequently, within the letters םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH.", which are "PSHOOTIM", is hidden the ingredient through which "G'OOLOH" (Redemption) was created.

Similarly, the closed ם "Mem", although, in essence, it is not "POSHOOT", which is to say that, even though it is not extended in form like the other four letters: ן "Noon", ץ "Zaddik", ף "Pey" and ך "Chaph", even so, the closed ם "Mem" is more singled out to be pure from all things.

Another reason that can be attached to why this is true of the closed up ם "Mem" is that nobody has access to approach such a one to gain dominion over and as a result, it is enjoying full freedom.

Therefore, because of the excellence of the םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH.", these letters must appear after the ת "Tav", the last of the twenty-two letters which are inferior in quality to the "M.N.Z.P.CH.". For example, first comes the child, who is "immature" and later on the individual reaches the state of "Manhood" or "Maturity".

10) This can only be seen in the Alphabet whose letters are arranged three in a group; that is to say: in "singles”, "tens" and "hundreds”. As a result, the first group is:

11) It is now apparent that after the ת "Tav", the last of the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet, the first final letter, which is the ך "Chaph", whose numerical value is 500, begins in the following "group" after the ת "Tav", the numerical value of which is 400; and so the other four letters of the םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH." follow the rest of the groups of letters finishing with the last final letter, which is the ץ "Zaddik", the numerical value of which is 900.

12) It should be noted that in order to attain to the numerical value 1,000 it is necessary to return to the letter א "Aleph" of the Hebrew alphabet. Although the numerical value of the א"Aleph" is one, this letter also has the numerical value: 1,000.

To be specific, the letter א "Aleph" has a double number, that is, one as well as one thousand. The way to express the receipt of a check for one dollar would be to say א "Aleph" dollar. If one wished to acknowledge receipt of the sum of one thousand dollars, he would also have to say אלף "Eleph" dollar; so that the difference from one to one thousand lies only in the vowel, for, as already pointed out, in Hebrew, אלף "Aleph" dollar means one dollar, whereas one thousand dollars is expressed in Hebrew, thus: אלף "Eleph" dollar.

13) However, the final letters םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH.,'' called פשוטים "PSHOOTIM", which have already been depicted as having greater tenuity and merit than the other twenty-two letters, by reason of their superiority, come after the alphabet. GOD created the things that are above this corporeal world, which is "compounded". The works of redemption are above this "material", "combined" and "blended" world. When GOD, will redeem Israel from the subjugation of the nations who are in possession of this world, He will give Israel the "Madreigo" of the םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH.", that is, the high standard of moral and spiritual power which is above this corporeal world.

In other words, the prediction that was made by Isaiah the Prophet will then become a reality. GOD will endow Israel with "the new light" through the agency of the םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH.", thus: "AND THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SHALL REST UPON HIM, THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING; THE SPIRIT OF COUNSEL AND MIGHT; THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE AND OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD".

"And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord; And he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears; but with righteousness shall he judge the poor; And reprove with equity for the meek of the earth; And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins (11: 1- 6)".

It is for this reason that the Creator, by means of these five final letters, the םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH.", that appear after the alphabet, the Creator redeemed Israel from the nations and bestowed upon Israel the "Madreigo" which is above this material world.

14) In addition, we must know that the letter ד "Daleth" whose numerical value is four, indicates subjugation and the letter ה "Hey", the numerical value of which is five, symbolizes redemption. The reason for this difference between the two letters is as follows: the letter ד "Daleth", the numerical value of which, as already pointed out, is four, implies the spreading and the scattering to all the four sides. This explains why it was that Israel was subjugated in Egypt four hundred years. There is actually no difference between the four and the four hundred as the four is the miniature amount of the four hundred and the four hundred is the magnified amount of the four.

15) It goes without saying that one cannot attach subjugation or exile to last four years only; for the short span of four years can hardly be deemed exile or subjugation. This accounts for why the subjugation lasted four hundred years.

Consequently, because the numerical value of the ת "Tav", (numerical value: four hundred) indicates subjugation, therefore the םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH." letters come after the letter ת "Tav" as the letters םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH." indicate the redemption, which follows after the ת"Tav", that is symbolic of exile for, after subjugation, comes redemption. This is the reason why they are five lettersfor the number five implies redemption and does the letter ה "Hey" indicate redemption in essence following the letter ד "Daleth", indicating dispersion and subjection.

16) Just as the world was created by means of the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet, GOD created the salvation, which is redemption, with the five letters םןץףך "M.N.Z.P.CH.", that follow the ת "Tav", the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

Although at the time of redemption from Egypt, the fact that the two letters appearing in the two words "POKED POKADTEE" are not "PSHOOTOT" creates no problem, since it is impossible for a word to begin with a final ף "Pey". Therefore, the merit for redemption had to be indicated by virtue of the use of the double פ "Pey", which is illustrated in the two words פ פ "POKED POKADTEE".

In other words, the double פ "Pey" is only an indication that Israel was redeemed from Egypt through the high merit of the double פ "Pey", which implies the פ "Pey" "POSHOOT" פשוט.

17) However, there is no greater excellence in the Alphabet than that letter, which is the Final ץ "Zaddik" "POSHOOT", which is to say that, greater power and merit is attributed to the letter, the Final ץ "Zaddik" than to the other four final letters.

This last redemption of Israel will take place through this letter, the Final ץ "Zaddik". A double צ "Zaddik" is therefore mentioned by the prophet in the expression depicting the last future redemption for Israel. These are the words: "… ISH TZEMACH SHMOH OOMITACHTOV YITZMOCH …" "… BEHOLD THE MAN WHOSE NAME IS TZEMACH צמח AND HE SHALL GROW UP OUT OF HIS PLACE …" (Zech., 6:12).

This is the final "Madreigo", מדרגה (dimension of light) which will produce the redemption for Israel for all eternity.

The redemption, which will consummate through the Final ץ "Zaddik", will be the redemption after which the whole world will be forever exempt from exile.

There is no "Madreigo" that will follow the last redemption, for it will be eternal.
