40- Concerning Two Witnesses
SAM seeks to accuse Israel, so the Creator tells him to bring witnesses, so he brings with it the sun. He went to bring the moon, and he followed her. He went up to the place where he was told, “In that which is inconceivable to you, do not inquire.” The “sun” means the Torah, and the moon is a Mitzva [commandment], which is faith above reason.
There are two times in Malchut: 1) The time of Katnut [smallness/infancy], when she has only the point of Keter and the light of Malchut. When she is in Katnut, she ascends to Keter, and then the Sitra Achra [other side] has no hold on Malchut because above reason, there is no grip to the outer ones. It follows that when he wants to slander Israel and brings with him the sun, which is the Torah, he has no witnesses because they are not witnesses unless they are two, which are Torah and Mitzva, and wholeness means that there are two things: Torah and Mitzvot [commandments].
Conversely, if they are adhered in the form of a Mitzva, which is faith above reason, called Aviut [thickness] of Keter, the Sitra Achra has nothing with which to grip on to Israel.
