76- The Works Go Up
When we walk on the path of bestowal, nothing of one’s good deeds remains with him. Instead, everything goes up, as it is written in The Zohar, the acts of fear and love fly to the world, go up. Conversely, an act in Lo Lishma [not for Her sake], remains below, meaning that at that time a person feels he has a possession of Torah and good deeds.
