Daily Kabbalah Tip
Advice in the daily Kabbalah lesson is recommended, practical tasks for advancing spiritually
Questions
And Answers
Where
should I search for questions and answers?
It
is desirable to rise above those kinds of questions which we think when we find
the answers for, we will thus advance. The answers need to come from the Light and
we don't need to look for them. An answer is the filling of deficiency, an
illusion of the filling of the desire to receive. The real filling can come
only from the Light. Therefore, we need to find the correct intention to the
source of the Light and from there all the answers will come.

War
Of Maccabees Against The Greeks
What
is the internal meaning of the "war of the Maccabees against the Greeks"
and how is it connected to the relation between this world and the Upper World?
The
"war of the Maccabees against the Greeks" is the war that takes place
in a person between two forces, two approaches to reality. The name
"Greeks" signifies that a person is clarifying each and every state
within reason, i.e., according to his mind, his feelings, his understanding,
according to what he can receive within him. This is called, "this
world."
The
name "Maccabees" signifies that a person is going according to
"faith above reason"; namely, that he is looking for the Force of
bestowal and wants to see things through this Force. This is to say that he
doesn't want to receive any knowledge or fulfillment within any desires that awaken
in him, but through these desires he want to go out to what is external to him
and from there receive knowledge and fulfillment.
"External
to him" means in others, in faith above reason, in Kelim of
bestowal, in a place that is called "Upper World."
