Success
What
is the difference between success in the corporeal world and in the spiritual
world?
Usually corporeal success
interferes with spiritual success, but everything depends on the correct use of
success by the person.
What is corporeal success?
You can measure corporeal success in terms of money, honor, control, leisure
time, also in successful children, a healthy family, etc. In other words in everything that belongs to
this world.
If a person is satisfied
and can think and concentration with all his might on success in spirituality,
and can overcome the attraction of corporeal success, then actually, this is
corporeal success; that is., to balance correctly between spiritual investment and
corporeal investment.
If someone who received an
awakening from Above, who has a point in the heart, but nevertheless the
importance he gives to the society he is in is too great and he plays according
to its rules and invests all his strength in order to succeed in the external
society, then it is clear that this postpones his spiritual development.

The New Year (Rosh HaShana
- the head of the year): May you be signed and sealed in the book of life
(greetings used for Yom Kippur)!
What
is the meaning of "the shells of Noga," and what are "the head of the
year," and "May you be signed and sealed in the book of life" in spirituality.
"The shells of Noga,"
is a state of choice that a person on the spiritual path comes to. In this
state he feels divided from within, that is half good and half bad. In one
state, he is not able to get rid of his ego, and in the other state, he
understands that if he doesn't give it up and receive strength from Above, then
he will not be able to enter spirituality. The Upper Light can finally help him
if he does want to deliver himself, with total devotion, to enter spirituality
above reason. This is actually the state of "the head of the year," that is, the
state of beginning the change, clarification, and the change.
And so the Upper Light that
arrives decides and raises the person in the direction of faith above reason.
Thus he begins the new year and this is called "May you be signed and
sealed in the book of life," that the Light, the Creator, signs and promises a
person that he will walk on the good path. Before this, "do all that you can
and have power to do" in order to reach the point of this decision.
