Spiritual Time, Months of Gestation  

What is "time" and what is "months of gestation" in spirituality?

Time in spirituality is not about time according to a clock or according to some external factor that changes.  It is about how much I change, which is called that I went through this time and that time.

Thus when we learn about the spiritual "months of gestation," we, in total, learn about the changes that take place in the desire to receive. And according to the number of these changes we count Tet (ninth letter in the Hebrew alphabet), Zayin (seventh letter in the alphabet), or Yod Bet (numeric value of twelve) renewals that are called "months."

"Gestation" is from the word, "go through," which passes from state to state. Thus the concept of "months of gestation," means a number of changes that I need to go through in order to develop within the Upper until the state where I pass over to external developments.

Discover Evil         

The system of correction is meant for the broken Kelim (vessels). Where is the impairment and what is there to correct?

Evil is unfounded hatred. This is what Rabbi Akiva shouted about and this is what caused the fall to destruction. What seems to me as evil is what is bad to my ego. But the only evil is unfounded hatred, which is against the good, i.e., "Love the other as yourself." There is nothing else. This is the distinction towards which I check if I am damaged or not, since the deterioration is towards the Creator, and except for that nothing else is damaged in respect to Him.

The system of correction is meant for the broken Kelim, the breakage is in unfounded hatred, and there is no ability to connect. This is exactly like we felt at the Congress, i.e., you want to take part in the group, you are pushed to this internally, but you discover that you aren't able to. Thus you discover the evil. And now you need to demand correction.
