Reward and Punishment
"Reward" and "punishment" felt by those on the spiritual path
"Reward" and "punishment" on the spiritual path is a completely different concept than the one we are used to in corporeality. In our world, we are taught the rules of society and according to them there are actions that we receive reward for and there are other actions that we receive punishment for.
As compared to this, when we speak about the path to spirituality, we speak only in an aimed way, and we must understand that there is Providence here and Providence aims us to correction. Thus It leads us in "reward" or in "punishment" in order to directly aim us correctly to the purpose, in order to teach us in the "right" or in the "left." This is like what parents must do for their children in our world.
Thus, man needs to understand that everything is for a purpose; both the "reward" and the "punishment" are actually corrections, and we must go through them. Man can accept this correctly only if he is in the correct environment since it is only possible to understand Providence through finding the right place through which the Providence actually needs to operate.
