Greatness

What are the means of increasing the greatness of the goal?

All our work is about greatness, and the question is: How to work on this greatness? After a person decides what importance he wants to give everything, and why, only then is it called that he has chosen his path of life. 

It is clear to him that it is not by chance that he is under the influence of the environment or under the influence of his inner urges, but that he himself begins inquiries and determines the order of importance for things, and wants to change himself according to the order he determined.  And then, a person can decide to enter the society in a "supervised" way.

Whether I want the Creator to be valuable in my eyes or I want to stop smoking, clarification is always needed.  After I make the clarification, I go to the environment that influences me to elevate the goal that I chose.  And this is how I advance.  If a person operates in this way, it is possible to say that he is not like a log that is swept away in flowing water, but rather, he is now beginning to manage his life by himself.

People who operate this way reach achievements in our world. In the spiritual world, where we talk about free choice, where our growth is according to how much we investigate ourselves, all of our work is in the definition of the goal and its enlargement.  After that, I ask the environment to help me elevate the goal, and when, with the help of the environment, I reach the desire to be under the influence of the Creator or the Surrounding Light, then I turn to It.

This is to say, within the freedom of choice, I have a number of factors that I can arrange in order to reach the goal. And if I direct myself to the greatness of The Creator, then in the end I will be filled with the Greatness of the Creator.

Above Reason, Below Reason

What is the meaning of the concepts, "above reason," and "below reason"?

"Above reason," means that a person goes against his own understanding, for the sake of spiritual advancement.  And to the extent that the knowledge is great, the opposition to it needs to be even greater.

And when it is thought that a person has to erase his "I," his knowledge, and go along with what he is told, that is called "below reason."
