# Prof. Ervin Laszlo talks about relating altruistically to all people like we are one family, and that through such a change in relationships, we can build a new, altruistic civilization. Altruism Prof. Ervin Lazlo: We would have to create(?) a climate where more evolved people are coming in contact with the less evolved people. Then, of course, you can create a situation where people are beginning to emulate, to act like the more evolved people. More evolved means more connected, more ultraistic, because you recognize that altruism is good for you-it's a practical thing in that sense-that you are one member of a family. If you live in a small family, if you are doing something for your son, for example, or for your mother, you don't think that you are doing it for your own suffering, just to do it for the other, you are also doing it for yourself because it's your own family. The same way we should think about people all over the world-that they are all family and then I think we could create a livable, a new civilization.
