“Dr. Laitman describes how it comes from our ego, and it’s because we’re not taking care of our human ego. We’re not preparing people to live in society. Our ego cancels any kind of patience we have, and we simply can’t stand each other.”
Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman is asked a question about toddler abuse at daycare centers, which is making parents feel helpless, where on one hand, they can’t trust daycare centers to take care of their children, and on the other hand, they have no choice but to take their children there. Where does this evil come from?
Dr. Laitman describes how it comes from our ego, and it’s because we’re not taking care of our human ego. We’re not preparing people to live in society. Our ego cancels any kind of patience we have, and we simply can’t stand each other. In order to deal with it, it’s not pedagogical preparation or teaching about human psychology. That won’t help. What’s needed is the correction of man himself, not just some advice on how to behave properly, but one needs to acquire tremendous appreciation toward other people, that this is what his soul depends on, and nothing else can help. There has to be some kind of preparation for a person’s connection with the upper force that would allow the person to behave nicely toward others.
