Blessed is God on high who gave contentment; for our souls it is a relief from the toil and groaning. And He seeks out Zion, the outcast city: How long must it grieve and moan? 

Whoever keeps the Shabbat, men and women alike, may they find God▓s favour like a meal‑offering in a sacred pan

He who rides atop the heavens, the King of the universe, that his nation rests on the Shabbat. He made it hear with its pleasantness,

with tasty foods and every manner of delicacy, with elegant garments and a family feast.

Whoever keeps the Shabbat┘

Praiseworthy is everyone

who awaits a double reward

from the One Who sees all

but dwells in dense darkness.

He will grant him an inheritance in mountain and valley, a heritage and a resting place like his upon whom the sun shone.

Whoever keeps the Shabbat┘

Whoever safeguards the Shabbat properly from desecration, behold √ worthiness for beloved holiness is his destiny. And if he fulfills the day▓s obligation, praises are due him; to God, the Lord Who fashioned him, it is sent as a gift.

Whoever keeps the Shabbat┘

The most beloved of days▓

is what my God and Rock called it. Praises are due to the wholesome ones if it is protected; a fitting crown

is fashioned on their heads.

As for the Rock of the universe, His spirit will be content with them.

Whoever keeps the Shabbat┘

Remember the Shabbat to keep it holy. His honor will rise like a diadem on his head. Therfore let each man give of himself, delight and also gladness with which to exalt himself.

She is holy to you, the Shabbat Queen, within your homes to deposit blessing.

והוא ידרוש לציון עיר הנידחה.

לאל ירצו כמנחה על מחבת:

רוכב בערבות. מלך עולמים. את עמו לשבות. איזן בנעימים. במאכלי ערבות. במיני מטעמים. במלבושי כבוד זבח משפחה:

 ואשרי כל חוכי. לתשלומי כפל.

מאת כל סוכה. שוכן בערפל. נחלה לו יזכה בהר ובשפל. נחלה ומנוחה

כשמש לו זרחה:

השומר שבת...

כל שומר שבת כדת מחללו. הן

הכשר חיבת קודש גורלו. ואם יצא חובת היום אשרי לו. אל אל אדון מחוללו. מנחה היא שלוחה:

השומר שבת...

חמדת הימים. קראו אלי צור. ואשרי לתמימים. אם יהיה נצור. כתר הלומים. על ראשם יצור. צור העולמים. רוחו בם נחה:

זכור את יום השבת לקדשו. קרנו כי גבהה. נזר על ראשו.

על כן יתן האדם לנפשו. עונג וגם שמחה. בהם למשחה:

קודש היא לכם שבת המלכה. אל תוך בתיכם להניח ברכה. בכל מושבותיכם. לא תעשו מלאכה.

בניכם ובנותיכם. עבד וגם שפחה.

For I will observe the Shabbat, the Lord will watch over me, a sign it is for the everlasting worlds, between Him and myself.

It is forbidden to find an object, to make plans,

even to speak about daily needs, trade, even the dealings of kings. Instead, we will study the Torah of God  

for it will make me wise.

In Him I will always find rest for my soul. Behold, for the first generation he gave my Holiness. An example in the giving a dual portion of bread on Friday. This is the way it is every Friday, that he doubles my portion.

For I will observe the Shabbat┘

Register in the religion of God a law for his constituents where it states to arrange bread, face-to-face. Therefore, it is necessary to answer it according to one▓s wit. It is forbidden to be alone from Yom Kippur, my sins.

The Shabbat is a respectable day, it is a day of delights.

Bread and good wine, meat and fish. Those that mourn on this day withdraw backwards for it is the day of happy thoughts and it will make me happy.

For I will observe the Shabbat┘

It is forbidden to work, its end is to be cut off. Therefore, I will launder in it my heart. And I will pray to God, the evening and morning prayers,

also the Musaf prayer and also the afternoon prayers.

And He will answer me.

Bo emtsa tamid nofesh le nafshi, Ine le dor rishon

natan kedoshi, Mofet betet lehem mishne ba-shishi, Kaha be-kol shishi Yahpil mezoni.

Rasham be-dat ha-El hok el seganav, Bo laaroh lehem panim be-panav, Al ken lehit▓anot bo al pi nevonav,

Asur, levad mi-Yom Kipur avoni.

כי אשמרה שבת אל ישמרני.

אות היא לעולמי עד בינו וביני.

 אסור מצוא חפץ. עשות דרכים.

גם מלדבר בו דברי צרכים.

 דברי סחורה אף דברי מלכים.

אהגה בתורת אל ותחכמני:

כי אשמרה שבת...

בו אמצא תמיד נופש לנפשי. הנה לדור ראשון נתן קדושי.מופת בתת לחם משנה בששי.ככה בכל שישי

יכפיל מזוני.

כי אשמרה שבת...

רשם בדת האל חוק אל סגניו.בו לערוך לחם פנים בפניו.על כן להתענות בו על פי נבוניו.אסור לבד מיום כיפור עוני.

כי אשמרה שבת...

הוא יום מכובד הוא יום תענוגים.

לחם ויין טוב בשר ודגים. המתאבלים בו אחור נסוגים.כי יום שמחות הוא ותשמחני.

כי אשמרה שבת...

מחל מלאכה בו סופו להכרית. על כן אכבס בו לבי כבורית. ואתפללה אל אל ערבית ושחרית. מוסף וגם מנחה הוא יענני.

Freedom shall He proclaim

for sun and daughter,

and protect you like the pupil of the eye. Pleasant will be your reputation, never to cease. Rest and be content on the Shabbat day.

Seek my Sanctuary and my Hall, and show me a sign of salvation. Plant a branch within my vineyard;

 turn to the outcry of my people! Tread the press in Bazra and also Bablyon which overpowered. Smash my foes with wrathful anger;  

hear my voice

on the day I call.

O God, let bloom on the desert-like mountain, myrtle, acacia, cypress and box tree.

To the exhorters and to the scrupulous give peace as flowing as a river▓s waters.

Crush my foes, O jealous God, with melting heart and grief. May we open our mouth and fill it, our tongue sings Your joyful song.Let your soul know Torah;

Then it will be a crown on your head. Observe the precepts of your Holy One; observe your holy Shabbat.

דרור יקרא לבן עם-בת, וינצורכם כמו בבת. נעים שמכם ולא יושבת. 

שבו ונוחו ביום שבת.

דרוש נוי ואולמי. ואות ישע עשה עמי. נטע שורק בתוך כרמי.

שעה שוועת בני עמי.

דרוך פורה בתוך בצרה. וגם בבל אשר גברה. נתוץ צרי באף ועברה.

שמע קולי ביום אקרא.

אלה-ים תן במדבר הר.הדס שיטה ברוש תדהר.ולמזהיר ולנזהר.

 שלומים תן כמי נהר.

הדוך קמי אל קנא.במוג לבב ובמגנה.ונרחיב פה ונמלאנה.

לשוננו לך רינה.

דעה חכמה לנפשך.והיא כתר לראשך. נצור מצות קדושך.
